Warning! DANGER, Will Robinson!

I will likely try to upgrade the UO WordPress installation this weekend from 1.5 to 1.5.2. I’ll save my theme and plugin folders in hopes of being able to put everything back together, but things may go wonky for a bit.

this weekend from 1.5 to 1.5.2.

Every weekday I get messages in my inbox at work that say ~”Network support will be upgrading X Thursday from 18:00 to 18:45” as a way of notifying you that you will not be able to use your computer during those hours. So I spent a few fractional seconds trying to figure out what times are represented by 1.5 and 1.5.2…

Come back, Jim! If not for Alito commentary - I need to hear at least ONE libertarian out there to be wary of a judge so eager to pull the police-state trigger - then to hear you groan at the slow-motion train wreck that is Wome!. Or did you give up when Titus Pullo fathered Caesarion?

Unfortunately, Jim will be The One. And Only.

I say we all link hands and try a psychic probe to locate Jim in whatever hellish nether dimension Dormammu has cast him. By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth, may the All-Seeing Eye of Agammotto, and Mr. Moto, too, find Our Jim!

    I fear the worst.

Hey Barry, I’ll make two. I get really fucking creeped out by a judge so eager to ignore what the search warrant says in order to let the police do whatever the hell they want. I think what you’re seeing is (ahem) the soft bigotry of low expectations at work; after the incredible Miers nomination, Bush is getting credit that for the fact that he did not nominate Incitatus to the Supreme Court — it could be much, much worse than Alito.
