Swoon

I feel like I need a cigarette after watching Jon Tester’s latest ad.

“Why do you think we’re the enemy?” has to be the best possible way to get all our objections to Bush Administration “security” policy into one pithy phrase.Via Slow-Loading Newsrack!

Stupid blogrolling.com. They’re fired, and the site should load more quickly now.

Woah! I wish my Representative (Melissa Bean, DINO-IL) had as much gumption.

Wow! I thought I was too old to have crushes, but I’m developing one now.

I wish someone running in Connecticut had that view. I’d vote for him in a second. (And I don’t care what his economic views are, either. Getting rid of the Patriot Act and its related problems is more important to me than mere economics.)

Jim, thanks for lifting my mood by bringing that ad to my attention. I needed it.

“They’re fired, and the site should load more quickly now.”

That’s not the problem; I don’t know what it is, but for a site without pictures, yours has always been the slowest-loading of any of my regular reads.

(More irritating, though, are the people who believe in putting 900 huge photos on their front page, rather than thumbnails, like Michael Totten; some of us are still on dial-up [which is why I won't see the Tester ad, alas].)
