BSG 3.14

Didn’t grab me. I get the design, but the machine itself did not go, or only haltingly. And the way they shot Adama’s introspection dooms us to weeks of “Adama IS a Cylon!” fanboyery. Some good performances, though, esp Mary McConnell’s positive girlishness.

“New Baghdad” Located

Last week when “New Baghdad” appeared on some briefing materials people wondered if it was some bizarre Orwellian thing. Apparently it’s a neighborhood of Baghdad proper, known as “al-Jadid” in Arabic.
