In today’s science blogging, we report on a French civil servant with a giant hole where his brain should be.  Seriously.  Here’s a picture of his brain:

FWIW, the doctors were able to drain the fluid from the hole, but they couldn’t treat the underlying condition.  He remains a French civil servant.

The White House has just issued an executive order to freeze the assets of anybody undermining US efforts in Iraq. Since they always say that those who criticize the war aren’t “supporting the troops”, what’s to stop them from coming after bloggers?
Yeah, I’m probably being paranoid.
