MKK doesn’t have to worry about Murphy and Harry having a romance in Season Two.

TV show officially cancelled-ish

There is of course a fan-originated renewal effort. Just make sure to practice safe pestering. I had my problems with the show, but I liked it, and was looking forward to a second season. SF/F shows often come into their own in Season Two. For your possible grieving, the following resources:

I don’t have cable, so I bought the Dresden Files dvd last week. I enjoyed the episodes, but I thought the show was similar to Angel. I could almost do a 1 to 1 correlation between the DF episodes and certain Angel episodes in fact.

Instead of rooting for more DF, I would like to see Scifi order another mini-series of the Lost Room. I really enjoyed that, and thought it was unique. I assume that it is dead as well, though.

It sure as hell was better than the asshattery called “Flash Gordan.”

The new TV series makes the 1980 campy movie look like Bladerunner.

Hee. Thanks for the shoutout Jim. I’m mildly sorry to see it go in spite of the problems I had with the changes. Hmm. I wonder what the status of Blood Ties is….

I personally thought Dresden Files was one of the most original SciFi show to come along in years – so many leaps and bounds above shows like Painkiller Jain that it really stood out. Unfortunately the decisions makers at SciFi did not think so, in spite of my letters and emails. It looks like all we have on SF that we like is Doctor Who.
