Rick Moran has had it with malignant slams from fellow conservatives (recently drawn from the National Examiner, of all places), about Obama being an Islamofascist mole.

But Rick also spews this:
[Obama's] attendance at Trinity United Church Of Christ in Chicago establishes his authenticity as an African American more than fulfilling any spiritual need the candidate may have.
Is Rick telepathic? For he just “knows” that Obama’s claimed Xian religiosity is all show, and that Obama calculated that belonging to this church in particular was necessary for “establishing” his “African-American” bona fides. Well but then, MLK was an atheist commie, not a true-believing minister of the faith, right, Rick?
Just to make nice and clear that I do not commend the entire post.

Obama does apparently says as much in “Dreams of my Father”. He doesn’t believe in heaven, at least. Might be an improvement to have a Nietzche-man in instead of “my favorite philosopher is Jesus“.

Yes, clearly, joining an inner-city black church with radical links is part of a master plan to boost his political appeal.

Obama lost an election to former black panther Bobby Rush back in Illinois. Joining that church could help him when it comes to local politics, whether he considered getting elected at a national level when he was deciding what church to join is a different story. Of course, I also think it’s the case that he genuinely likes the church rather than merely viewing it as part of some sort of Machiavellian political scheme.
