Comments Policy
All comments pass through a Preview stage to discourage spam. That means you have to click two buttons to post. That’s life.
Comment policy: By default, comments will be open for posts on the main page, at my (sole) discretion. Positive and negative comments are welcome, but I reserve the right to delete any comment I consider to be personally abusive toward me or any other participant in a thread. For that matter, I reserve the right to delete any comment for any other reason whatsoever. For that matter, I reserve the right not to. I reserve the right to ban commenters, with or without comment deletion, for the same reasons. I certainly reserve the right to report any threatening comments to the user’s service provider.
I will delete comment spam ruthlessly. I am the sole judge of what constitutes comment spam.
I reserve the right to delete bigoted comments. As a libertarian, my definition of “bigoted” is narrow but not negligible, and I am the sole judge of what constitutes a deletion-worthy bigotry. In some cases, bad speech may be allowed to remain long enough to be cured by good speech.
I reserve the right to delete comments that are not germane to the subject of the post. This is not a bulletin board. If you want to talk about something I’m not talking about, get your own blog.
I reserve the right to disemvowel comments for any of the reasons above.
Please mask profanity. Fvck, sh;t and the like are acceptable. I have a potty mouth too.
